Soho House Berlin

We’ve supplied a load of lighting to this latest venture from the Soho House
group, a new private members club based in a late-Bauhaus building
in central Berlin.

Trainspotters has supplied various Soho House ventures over the last
couple of years and we were delighted to be involved in this exciting project.

Peppes Pizza.

Trainspotters recently supplied Norwegian pizza moguls “Peppes Pizza” with White Dunlop Lights, for their latest restaurant refit in Alta Norway.
One of a number of restaurants we have helped Peppes kit out, and our first venture into the Arctic Circle! shades.

United Grand Lodge of England.

Keen Trainspotter followers will have noticed we’ve got two of these
magnificent 1920/30′s double-sided hallway stands removed from the Freemasons Hall in the City of London,
the headquarters of the United Grand Lodge of England.

Pizza East is the latest venture by the Soho House group serving a variety
of freshly  made pizzas cooked in wood burning ovens.

There is also a Deli section, where you will notice a beautifully
modified V&A Cabinet, along with a variety of lighting supplied by trainspotters.

The Cabinet has been skillfully re-crafted to include a solid marble
refrigerated slab, which tastefully displays the finest Italian
cheeses and hams money can buy.

The draws have also been modified to contain an under counter fridge.

Visit Pizza East, Enjoy a hand made pizza, and soak up the elegant
re-claimed industrial style that the designers have achieved.

Record Railway Poster Sale.

A remarkable collection of vintage railway posters and memorabilia has
gone under the hammerafter being found in a small terraced house
in a North Yorkshire town.

The collection was put together by Malcolm Guest, who saved the items
from the dustbin when he worked in Great Western Railway’s publicity
department at Paddington Station in the 1960s.

These images of social history and the irreplaceable archives from GWR
and other regional railways, recording the everyday workings of the railways
from the mid 19th century formed the basis of his collection,
to which he added over the years.

Liz Pepper-Darling from Morphets says the auction raised more than
£400,000, exceeding expectations.

The largest single amount was for a poster of Southport’s Lido which fetched £6,200, while another
featuring Southport in the wintertime went for £4,400.
